Hi im wondering which mount to buy for my iphone mounted on my motorcycle handelbars.Is tis one more secure than the x grips?

That will depend on the thickness of your device. I find that the Xgrip works best with electronic devices 1/2 inch thick or less. With either mount you should tether your device because these are not a secure fit.

So,as a follow up question,do you guys sell tethers for iphones,or do i make my own?

If you have an iPhone you are better off getting the proper holder for it. RAM-HOL-AP9 (iphone4). You will not need a tether for that mount. I use it on a mountain bikes with no worries about it hitting the ground unless I do first.

To tether your iPhone to your mount you can use a piece of string, elastic or lanyard. Here is a link to lanyards we sell.d
