I am curious if the adapter plate with this cradle that connects RAM to the four-prong design is available on its own. I ask this because I own a Blackberry phone and there are custom cradles made by iGrip that fit it perfectly, but it uses the four-prong hole design like this particular cradle. I'd like to be able to adapt the iGrip cradle to use with my RAM mounts, but I don't want to waste money buying this whole package when all I want is the adapter plate. Either that or have RAM come out with custom fit Blackberry cradles :) (why should iPhone users get all the love?)

yes you can get the adapter plate by itself no problem, what you are looking for is RAM part RAM-B-347 here is a link http://www.gpscity.com/ram-mount-rectangular-amps-plate-b-ball-ram-b-347u.html.
