I have ordered this arm without checking my vehicle first. I have since looked at it and on my Honda Element, the seat railing is quite different where the bolt is not on the floor. I have located a bolt that is on a 90 degree angle from the floor. Is it possible to bend the bracket (using a vise) to accommodate for this without compromising the strength of it?

Hello Marvin,

You can bend the pole. If needed you can bend the foot also. The strength should be fine as long as you don't continually bend the metal. Just once and you should be fine for this application.

Cheers
Jordan

It actually fit like a glove! The only thing I had to modify was buying a longer bolt which cost me $4.
