I would to know if mounting this camera on a snow machine would work.
I would think the vibrations would give a distorted view

It would be best to put the camera on your Helmet. The vibration of the snowmobile may cause problems with the quality of the video. If your machine does not vibrate a lot it would not hurt to give it a try to see if you like the end result.
