Hello Serge,

Which GPS 550 do you have? The Nuvi 550, Zumo 550, Aera 550, and Oregon 550 are all waterproof and do not need a waterproof case. Out of the above units only the Oregon 550 would fit in the RAM-HOL-AQ2.

Cheers

How about the nuvi 260, will that fit in the aquabox 2 or do I need the aquabox 6?

Hello Kevin,

You will need the RAM-HOL-AQ6 for the Nuvi 260. Unfortunately the Aquabox 2 is to narrow that is why it only fits the handheld.

I know this is probably wishful thinking, but how exact are the specs for the Nuvis and AquaBoxes? Any chance the 2.9-inch 2360 would actually fit in the 2.88-inch AQ2? Is the box trimmable for the difference with a Dremel? Thanks.

Hello Cruiser Bill,

The Specs are accurate but were rounded up by the manufacturer. I prefer metric and the measurement I took is 73 mm.

Cheers
