This item is backordered with at date of "Expected: Aug 6, 2012".
How confident are you about this date?
I was hoping to get it before 11 August

The product has not been released by the manufacturer yet and that date could change. It is only an estimate at this time. I suggest contacting us closer to that date when we will be able to give you better information.

I saw a side note (not sure what web site) that this product is not recommended for motorcycle use. Any pre-release knowledge as to problems with cradle & holder design? Very interested in the concept of use on and off motorcycle.
