Hello,
I can't seem to get the back cover off of my new gps. There is a click that you press down and I guess the back cover is supposed to pop off or slide down, but it's not! I need to get the battery in, please help!

You must slide the battery release on the Nuvi 550 all the way to the side until it wont move any more. The nuvi 550 battery cover should pop up, then you need to use your nails to pry it up the rest of the way.
