HELP!!!!!!!!!!

I **had** City Navigator North America, v8 (GPS 18) - had a system crash and found out that my disk has been lost. STILL have the "receiver", and also the Unit Serial #, Registration # and Unlock Code.

| have a laptop running Windows 7

IF i get this disk, can it turn my laptop into a GPS unit again? I **ALSO** have a GPS unit, but the City Navigator had some unique features that I really liked.

Will this disk be a substitute for what I had??????

Garmin no longer does moving map on the computer so you will not be able to use a laptop as a vehicle navigator with out your original disks. The disk you are looking at is discontinued and no longer available.

What alternative do you suggest then to replace Enroute and transform a laptop into a GPS giving speech directions?

Sorry but I do not have a recommendation. Normally if I would we would be selling it. At this time there are not many moving software companies left. I would try but not recommend Microsoft streets and trips.
