I just bought this chart and it is dated feb 2011. I was told that it is eligable for updates.
where do I get the updates?

This is an excerpt from Garmin's site:
"These programs apply to the U.S. market only. All programs listed are available directly from Garmin U.S. to end-users only. Garmin requires valid proof of purchase to be eligible for the following programs."
I spoke with a rep at Garmin, and if the card was purchased in the US it can be sent in for updating. However, if the card is being sent up to Canada, there is a $40 shipping and handling charge applied.

Yes the card can be updated. You can ship your old card back to us for a credit, when an update is available. Then we can send you a new card with the latest mapping. Please feel free to call for more details and set up the update
