How many regions can I fit on one card for a Colorado 400c?

I have a colarado 400 C with marine charts on it, i use mostly for sea kayaking. Topo would be a helpful additon to this because along tidal marshes and creeks the marine charts are not that helpful as the water is not navigable to most crafts. Just so I am more model specific to what I think is a yes answer, am I able to copy a DVD map on an SD card and use that within my 400c. what is the max size SD i can use? How many regions can I fit on one card or is it best to use one card per region?

Garmin Topo software can be loaded on a Colorado 400c via memory card using Garmin Mapinstall. Your unit should be able to do a 4Gb card without issues.

The number of regions will vary on the area you are in. You will be able to load multiple states
