No, it is not compatible with the RAM 1" arms.
The mount will fit directly onto the Garmin G-Ball cradle mounts as found on all of the Garmin Automotive Nuvi's.

A non skid base with a suction cup for the RAM components is available.

Or a RAM-B-202U-GO1 used along with a RAM Mount Round 2.5 inch diameter Round Adhesive 3M Disk to create a more permanent mount.
