Can the 3590LMT, with a micro SD card installed, be used as a mass storage device? I want to load an MP3 music collection from my computer to a Micro SD card, then power the 3590LMT and access the music through the Ford Microsoft Sync system while at the same time using the GPS.

The Ford Microsoft Sync may operate totally different but the 3590LMT does not have an MP3 player built-in. I have preordered this unit but will this feature (and an audio out jack) when using the device in my truck. In my car I already have an MP3 option.

The Garmin nuvi 3590 will act as a mass storage device when plugged into the computer. Even though it does not play MP3 you can use it to load a SD card to be used in another device that can play Mp3.
