How do you acess the total number of puts tracked on the garmin as well as the numjber of fairways hit.

You can access the number of strokes via the score card but the unit does not separate puts from other shots. Here is a link to the manual.

Then why does the unit allow a person to track the number of fairways hit and putts used when scoring?

I see where the confusion is. In the manual there is no reference to puts and fairways hit. That is a new addition via an update.

"Track Your Stats
