Information on how to update the Initial GM-701 system. I don't find anywhere that it talks about that. Thank you

Hi Gary,

I am sorry but at this time we do not have updates for this GPS and I do not believe it is possible to update it. It appears the manufacturer has gone out of business. I apologize for not being of anymore assistance with this.

so your saying that the manufacturer went out of business and there is no way to update this gps system at all??? do i just throw it away and buy a new one??

If the unit is no longer providing your the driving directions you need I would replace it for a new one like a Garmin nuvi. Garmin updates maps every three months.
