Hi folks

I'm running an Eagle Cuda 240 @ 200hz to handle the deeper water (100'+)tasks that my Lowrance Elite 5 DSI just isn't suited for. This raises a few ??s. Given the size of my boat(14'), engine and TM placement I have limited options as to how I mount my two transducers. I want to mount them on a bracket with about 3" between the center of each of the skimmers and set as close to the waterflow sweet spot as possible.

Given their freq differences 200hz & 400hz/800hz is crosstalk between them a likely prob.

When the Elite is running solely in chart mode is the transducer putting out depth pulses?

Any advice or guidance you can provide would be great

Regards Rick

Because they are on two different frequencies they should not cross talk. However you should keep them separated as much as possible. When in chart mode the transducer still pings.
