Can this wire be connected to a switched power lead? In other words, is there a way I can hook this up without having the wire be live all the time, especially when the bike is not being used? I'm concerned the green light on the fuse will drain my battery if it sits for several days.

Hello RC,

This cable can be hooked to switched power if you like. If you dont know how to do so please contact your motorcycle dealer for assistance with your make and model of bike.
