I don't see a link for the USB nor RS232 cables. Do you have them?

I ordered the GPS unit and the BR305-RS232 cable.
Do I still need a separate power cable? I have plugged this into my 996xt scanner and it does not recognize the unit even after configuring the serial port on the scanner.

Yes you will need to supply power to the GPS for it to operate. Power is not supplied via the RS232 connection.
