Hello AnnieA,

I am not sure what you are asking. Do you mean enter an address? The unit will ask you step by step. Just follow the on screen directions and you should be fine.

Where to? -> Address's -> Enter the city _> enter the house number -> Enter the street name (do not put in prefix's) If the address is not found it may not be in the database. Then you will need to contact Navteq to let them know of the error or missing area.

Cheers
Jordan

Hi Annie,
I have the same issue when I try to add East to e.g King Street East. It defaults to just King Street and leaves you hanging without asking the option.

I am trying to get the direction from my home to 2159 Boulevard Saint-Martin East, Laval, Qc., H7E 4X6, Canada.
A) I enter city "Laval" I then OK Laval, QC.
B) I then enter 2159 for house number.
C) I then enter Blvd. Saint-Martin East for name of street.
D) I get the answer "no matches found".
Question: Please advise where I went wrong ?
I have a Garmin nuvi 255W 1EV083676.

Hi Bernard,
GPS units find addresses best when you give them less detail. When you're entering the street name ie. Boulevard Saint-Martin East, just enter Saint-Martin and press Done. The unit will bring up any matches it may have in its database.
Thanks!
