The RG 58 coax is nicked into the braid and I get infinite resistance ohming this antenna at the BNC- The other end is buried under a rubber strain relief- is it BNC also or is it soldered? ggodwin93@gmail.com

The ga 29 has been out of stock (discontinued) for a while. We will not be able to verify the connection on the bottom of your antenna. The new replacement antennas for marine have a BNC connection on the bottom. The Garmin techs I spoke to were unable to verify either. I suggest removing it to see the connection. You will need to remove it to replace it and/or the cable.
