I have read in some of the questions / answers that this microsd card from Rocanda is supported on more garmin devices than is listed on the overview... confusing for a customer....

I have a short amount of time before I decide to get an iphone and the free app, or purchase a GPS unit, my questions are...

What is the cheapest / best bang for your buck garmin unit supporting this SD card you offer, with average to good battery life and some decent onboard memory so I don't have to buy a second SD card if I want to update the maps, also I have to be able to read the thing so I think black and white is out....

Rocanda has been adding support for their software and more units are added all the time.

The nuvi 3490 and 3590 will now work with the software.

If you have another model in mind we can verify if Rocanda works with the unit. The nuvi 13XX, 14XX and 12XX all have memory issues for maps updates but they are cheaper and will work with Rocanda
