What do I need to used my new 541 on the bridge of my boat? I have it installed in the lower helm and want to take it up above when running the boat from the bridge.

The Garmin 5XX Second Mount Station(010-10930-00) should be all you need. Do you have a NMEA 2000 buss? You may need an extension cable for that

Jordan,
All I have is what came with the unit when I purchased it from West Marine. I'm clear on what a NMEA 2000 buss is or what it does?????

Jordan, I just learned what the NMEA 2000 buss let you do. All I want to do is move the Garmin 541 from the lower station to the upper station. I don't have it connected to any other instruments.

Ok, I am not certain as to where the new cable connects? Is there a "Y" connection that allows me to have both cables connected to the transducer?

This is the exact same cable that comes with the GPS. It has power and data wires on one side and a transducer connection on the other side.
