Just bought an Elite 5 and getting a little frustrated with it first issue I am having is the numerical depth reading on the top left of the screen goes to 2.4 ft alot of the time even though the bottom is tracking the normal depth (ie. Bottom is locked on 30 ft but numerical display is reading 2.4 ft) second issue is when I put unit in simulation mode I get a real nice smooth picture on the screen but when I have it on the transducer the screen is very pixelated, any guidance?

You may need to change the depth source of the unit to get the correct reading in that data field. It may be displaying info from a different source.

What part of the screen is pixelated? Could you be comparing the demo of structure scan to regular sonar? What color is the screen? you may want to email some pictures to us so we know what you are looking at.
