The Android OS will not automatically use the BlueTooth GPS over the internal GPS. You will need to get a GPS based program that will communicate via BlueTooth. So if you search 'Bluetooth GPS' in the 'Play Store' a bunch of options will come up. Both navigation software and GPS tools.

I assume you have paired the GPS already.

In the Bluetooth based GPS software you download there will be an option to connect to the Glo bluetooth GPS instead of the internal GPS. I do not have a recommended software for you at this time. It is best to try the free programs and demos before committing to a software. Please let us know if you find a good Android based GPS program.

The glo I am testing with is saying it is 1.5m accurate 4-5 feet which is great. A good selling point.

Pair the Garmin Glo to your Android device. Install an app on Google Play called "Bluetooth GPS Provider" by "Googoo Android". Start the app, check "Enable Mock GPS Provider", go into the app settings, then check both "Use Insecure Connection" and "Connection Workaround", back to the main screen, select your Garmin Glo, then touch "Connect", it works on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

The program is not the "bluetooth gps provider". Is "bluetooth gps".But with some programs not work:
Examples
-Sigyc Aura-3.0 ... yes
-Copilot .. yes.
-Igo 8 ... no.

You're welcome, Jordan.

"Garmin glo" tested on a Samsung Galaxy Note (GT-N7000) android version 4.0.4 and it works great.
The steps are:
-On the phone:
Setings_Developer options_-click on "Allow mock locations"
-Pair the Bluetooth phone with "Garmin Glo" device.
-Install apk the "Bluetooth GPS" an you phone

Start apk Bluetooth GPS (as explained DHa)
-Click on "Enable Mock GPS Provider"
-Settings: Click "Insecure use Conection" and "Connection Workaround"
Star "Connect" in the main window menu "Bluetooth GPS" and select "Garmin Glo"
"Home" to boot apk (Sigyc, Oruxmaps, etc)
Enjoy.
(Please, excuse my english)

I don't think a lot of things will be compatible with the Kindle for its main purpose is to sell Amazon content for music, books, videos ... It does not have all the same capabilities as a true Android device.

Is there any option that doesn't use mock location? Maybe the Cyanogenmod 10 built-in support? I want to use it for Ingress, which won't run with mock location turned on.

I would suggest that you contact Ingress to see if they have any plans to update the software. At this time I do not have any suggestions

With people cheating in Ingress by spoofing their coordinates, then I would doubt the Ingress devs will allow mock locations.
