How to retrieve comments from gps when geocaching?

When geocaching I sometimes write a comment about the cache. When I try to retrieve or read my comments at a later time I don't seem to be able to access my comment anywhere or just don't know how to retrieve it.

There is a file on the unit called geocache_visits.txt In that file you will find your comments and caches you have logged.

1. Plug your GPS into your computer
2. Use Windows Explorer or Mac Finder to select the GPS unit in your harddrive list.
3. Enter the Garmin folder
4. Look for geocache_visits.txt
5. You can upload this file to geocaching.com by using the following link www.geocaching.com/my/uploadfieldnotes.aspx
* you can also open this file in any text editor

There was no documentation on the process so this took me longer to answer your questions. I apologize about that.
