I have the locking cradle for my Zumo 550 that attached to a motorcycle. I have the hard wire connector that has a 4 pin female adaptor that plugs into the cradle with bare wires on the other end to attach to a power source. I would like to use the cigarette adaptor that is in the fairing of my bike rather than hard wiring it. This part LOOKS like it would work, but others have inquired about this part and you guys said it would not. ? What piece do I need to have it locked in its cradle AND plugged into the cigarette lighter plug?

This part has the wrong size connection. At this time there is no cable with a cigarette lighter end on it. You can put one on your stock hard wire cable. You may be able to scavenge one from another cable or buy one from a electronics parts store. A local auto shop may sell the cigarette lighter end with no cable.
