I have both an ipod touch 2nd and third generation, with the Tom Tom app installed on both. I have the Tom Tom mount, but when I bouth the newer iPod found it didn't fit, so kept the old one just for the GPS. It appears the mount has perished- When I use it it continues to say "connect to GPS". Will this mount make it possible to use my existing TomTom app?

The mount contains no electronics.

The XGPS will work with all programs that use internal positioning of the iDevice. Tomtom will work fine
