Will this cable extend the short 7" USB cable on the GTM-60 receiver and work properly with the GPS receiver?

No this will not work unfortunately, this cable is only for the Garmin GXM 30 antenna.

To extend the GTM 60 you need 010-11282-00. Please see here:

Hi, Jordan:

No, I don't want the external antenna, what I need is a USB extension for the GTM-60 so that I can remotely mount the GPS unit and hide the GTM-60 cable. It's a 5-pin USB cable (not 4-pin). Do you have such a thing?

It should work. I am waiting for one in my office to test to be sure.

I just got the cable in to test for you. Both Power and data worked through the extension cable. You will be able to use it with the GTM60 to provide power and traffic data
