I have a GPSmap 60CSx with the optional black belt clip that the back comes apart from the spring.
The front where the unit slides into is OK and the knob on top of the front too.
But when I push on the back in the same direction downward as the front button, the back slide very easely off the spring and comes apart with the result that the GPS falls to the ground. Is there a stop that came off or what?
Also on the unit suddenly show personal POI's, 2500 Miles from here in East USA where I never have been and not entered it into the unit, Nor can I delete them. Is the unit maybe damaged? Thank you Yours Leo Schiffelers.

For the software problems you are seeing be sure to update your GPS unit to see if that remedies the problem. You can delete the points from your GPS unit. You can select the points you do not want in the Waypoint Manager (Find Button) in the unit. Select the delete option at the bottom of the screen when reviewing the point.

It sounds like you belt holder could be defective. Here is a link to a new one.

Thanks for your reply.
Those 2 buttons that are shown how and where are they fastened.
I vagely remember having them when I got the GPS, but did not know they belonged with the clip and I discarded them. So it may sound dumb, but tell me anyway where they go.

Sorry I gave you the link to one that works but does not include the Garmin part. Here is the one with the Garmin belt knob that screws on.
