Hi there.

Above Garmin from GPS City arrived in good time - great service. Thanks.

One thing: To charge from an AC connection or via USB, it appears to be a complex and clunky process whereby you have to unplug the connection and then replug it when the mass storage icon disappears. Then you have to restart the unit and then turn off the unit and finally it says battery charging.

Am I missing something?

Is there a more simple and direct way to charge via AC or USB connection?

When the unit shows the computer screen it is charging. It is not recommended to charge it via the computer. It will charge when plugged into the car/truck. Charging it through AC will be fine but it will show the computer screen. It is charging in the background.
