I would like to know about LMT( Lifetime Maps & traffic), what does it mean, if I buy a GPS with LMT, can I download MAPS from the Garmin site, any MAP, and I can update them whenever I need.and what about downloading different map each time such as one time Europe Map, sometimes Middle east and etc.
I will be grateful if you provide me the answer, so I can buy the right GPS for me, as I am traveling a lot.

LMT = Life time map updates for the preloaded region and lifetime traffic for the same region. You can update the preloaded maps whenever you need to. Garmin comes out with updates every three months.

You will need to purchase maps for other areas of the world. LMT will not give you access to them. We sell the majority of the maps so you can get other countries from GPSCity
