In the hunt for a new handheld. Oregon 600 vs Oregon 550 with the camera and topo canada.
Is this new Oregon worth the extra few $$. Also, does the 600 have the camera?

The Oregon 600 does not have a camera. The Oregon 650 will have the Camera. These models were just announced and will not be available until later this year (March if they are on schedule). I can not accurately comment if the Oregon 600 is worth the wait and extra money until I get a chance to play with one. Spec wise The new Oregon would be a good purchase.

There will be improvements in the new unit compared to the old one. Like faster processor, slightly smaller, 8MP camera (Oregon 650), more memory ... Is it worth the extra money. The price difference is only about $100 between the camera models which seems a decent difference.

Looking at the specs...which would one, the Montana 600 or the Oregon 600, which would be the better handheld?

The new Oregon can track glonass which the Montana can not. Other than that I would still recommend the Montana

I actually have an Oregon 300 and Topo Canada. If I buy the oregon 600, will I be able to use my Topo Canada with it?

There will be no problem using your Topo maps with the Oregon 6XX series
