can this charger also be used to transfer run data to my computer? or do i have to use the wireless, ANT usb stick?

The USB cable is for charging only. You will need a ANT stick.

so theres no "wired" option to transfer data? has to be wireless with the ANT?

That is correct. ANT only. ANT is better than wires for it will auto sysn if you want it to without any interaction when you walk in a room
