Can't find/see inland lake details

I've loaded the Ontario inland lakes sd card to my new Garmin 62sc - why can't I pull up any lakes to see the contours? Do I have to be "on a particular lake" to see this? What am I missing? thanks...

Not all lakes are covered. Are you checking lakes that are covered? Do you have any other maps loaded? If yes, have you disabled them in the map settings?

You will need to zoom the unit into a covered lake to see the details.

Thanks, Jordan...I've tried the zoom but no contours come up. I'm reading new info on the model I have...Garmin 62sc and I'm now concerned that my unit will not display the lake maps sd card I have. Do you know if this is correct? Thanks!

Your unit will view the maps fine. I would double check the coverage map list to make sure you are checking areas with full coverage.

Hmm...ok, well, I even looked at Lake Simcoe...and got nothing. Is there something I've not enabled? I did disable some of the world map options but lake maps says "enabled." Any ideas on what I could check?
Thanks... Or can I call you and have you walk me through some button pushing?

All you need is the map enabled. The lakes you are looking at may not be fully covered. Please check the coverage list on the product page.

Lake Simcoe will only show * = Detailed Shoreline Only as listed under Features and Tips using the Garmin Inland Lakes Canada Ontario.
Detailed coverage of Lake Simcoe is shown with the Garmin microSD Card BlueChart g2 HXCA015R.
