Just wondering what the system requirements for the card is. I'm planning to purchase a Nav unit for my car, and I'm wondering if it will work with this software.

Hello Taiga,

This card is compatible with most Garmin GPS units but not all. What GPS do you have? Nav units come preloaded with maps so you will most likely not need this card unless you buy a handheld or similar.

Cheers

Actually, it's a third party unit, with no Nav software included. I was wondering what the specification requirements would be, as that information is not provided. In addition, if this one does not apply, do you have any other navigation software on SD cards available that would operate on a Windows CE 5.0 based system?

Thanks

This software will only work on Garmin units. Maps are proprietary to the GPS unit in most cases. You will need to contact the seller or manufacturer of the GPS you have for compatible mapping. I dont have a CE based software I would recommend for your use.

Is this card compatible with any iQue models? I have an M4 that is 4-5 years old and has never had a mapping update.

Hello,

The Garmin M4 uses NT mapping so yes this card will work. You can check the mapping type in the settings of the Ique software.

Hello Will,

No you can not use this memory card in the Streetpilot 2610. Garmin uses Compact Flash in that unit which is a different style of card. You Street Pilot is a Great unit but it may be time to upgrade your unit, please feel free to contact us via phone for assistance.

Cheers

Will this work with my iQue 3600 whose firmware has been upgraded to handle 2GB SD cards? The old girl just won't give up the ghost! :)

This card is a SD card which is not compatible with the GPSMap 496. The GPSMap 496 uses a Garmin card. The 496 is already loaded with mapping you just need to put the unit into Automotive navigation mode.

Garmin has a complete list of compatable GPS's on their website.
As for a previous question, if the name, model # is 010-11551-00 then it is the 2011 version. It'sn the jacket.
