Can the battery be replaced by the owner or does it have to be sent in to a service depot?

What is the price of a new battery?

The product is not available yet. According to the current documentation (manual), the battery is not user serviceable. That may not be true and we will know better once the unit starts to ship. please feel free to ask the question again when it is available.

The unit does not have a user replaceable battery.

Thinking of buying one but no battery no buy could they change there minds or should i look else where

The 3790T does not have a user replaceable battery. It will have to be returned to the factory to be replaced if it becomes a problem.
