Could someone please tell me how to manually add a hazard whilst playing a fully mapped course. The manual only seems to cover this subject when manually mapping a new course. A step by step instruction would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Johnell,

On page 23 of the manual it will take you through editing and adding targets to existing golf courses.

http://www.golfbuddyglobal.com/doc/usersmanual_protour.pdf

Adding Targets From the play screen, push toggle button to the right twice to get to the User Created Target menu (User Created Tg). Push in the toggle button once, and push up/down on the toggle button to select a new target. After choosing your target, push in the toggle button to select.

Jordan and Gpscity.ca - many thanks for your advice. I had tried that info and it worked when playing the course, however, when switching off that new target was lost. I think I've cracked it though. After completing the sequence listed in the manual para 3.4, and before going on the the next hole, one must then press the side menu button - select Save Course and push the toggle button, otherwise the new course target for that hole will not appear in the future. That works with my Golfbuddy Tour - perhaps my software has a glitch.

Thanks again

Johnell

Hello Johnell,

Thank you passing on the information. It may not be a glitch but something that needs to be thought out a little better by the Golf buddy crew. Maybe in a future update they will fix that saving issue. Have a great summer.

Cheers
