I would like to know each and every inside parts of a GTM 20 and the Fuse rating. If there's a Service Manual or How To Fix, it's much better.

Hello Carit,

There is no detailed specs for the parts and they go together very easily, only one way. The fuse is rated at 3Amps. All parts are in the picture on the overview page. Please note that this works for the GTM20.

Cheers

In the GTM 20 charger is there a spring that can hold the fuse in place. I accidentally shake it out when I was replacing the new fuse. I still have the spring in place.

There is a Spring in the GTM 20 cable but it should be secured and shouldn't be able to fall out. There are ground fingers (some times called a spring) that could of been lost. Please watch the video and take a look at the pictures to verify the part you are missing. click the Overview tab above.

cheers

I have the new GTM 20. The spring inside the cable did fall out. Garmin tells me that they have no replacement spring and that I'll have to send it in for repair - $59.00!! Does anyone know what kind of spring the GTM 20 uses and where I can buy one?

Sorry but they are not available by themselves. You can try to substitute the lost spring with a pen spring or something similar. Just be careful that the spring is not too small and shorts out the cable.
