How to load map updates on the 1390LMT?

I have heard there is a problem with space on the unit to download the map updates to. How much memory does the unit have, and is loading updates a problem and can you do it with an iMac.

Hello Jim,

Updates are easy if you follow the on screen instructions. The unit only has enough memory to load part of north america once you update it. If you go to an area you did not load when you updated, dont worry. You can reload the maps with the areas you need.

How do you load only the updates that I want?
I'm having the same memory problem as everyone else is having

Please contact Garmin tech support via phone for step by step assistance if the install wizard is not working for you. They can take over your computer and do it for you if needed
