I've tried to calibrate the foot pod with my forerunner 405 per the instruction manual and I keep getting an the message "calibration failed" any suggestions on what I should do?

Hello c_lulu,

Have you tried resetting the watch settings? Also do you have another Garmin device like a heart rate monitor near by? If so, give yourself at least 20 feet between the sensors while calibrating. You can also try giving the tech support phone number a call for their assistance. 1-800-800-1020. They can ask more questions to help troubleshot your problem.
