I was just curious about something listed in the product details "Announced: September 2, 2010 First Shipped: November 23, 2010 ". Did I miss something? I've had this unit pre-ordered since early October and haven't seen anything. Did Garmin send some out early and pull back??

I see the First Shipped date has now been updated to January 21, 2011...effective right after I made this post. Nice

I see it now shows January 25, 2011. I'm curious if Garmin has shared any information as to why this unit continues to be delayed.

Hello Dan,

Shipping dates from Garmin are estimates and not a firm release dates. They do not share why it is delayed.

Now pushed back to January 28. I'm continuing to hang on to my pending order mainly because I'm now really curious to see if Garmin ever plans on actually shipping this product or not.
