It sounds, from another posting, that dirt roads are included in this set of maps. Is it possible to know how extensive the dirt road coverage is? Or how comprehensive the points of interest are, to the extent that it will show restaurants, motels, etc. in exceptionally tiny towns? I ask these questions because I would be using this set of maps in very remote regions of the continental divide (mostly U.S. + some Canada). Thanks!

Hello Russ,

These maps are for street driving. If it is not a regular road (paved)then I would not count on it being in this software. In other words you will not find backcountry road data in these maps. For back country data you will need Topo Canada and Topo USA.

Cheers

Will this show services in very small towns? Will the Topo show services in very small towns? Thanks.

Hi Russ,
Services such as gas stations, restaurants and hotels are not listed on the topo software. These points of interest (POIs) can be found on the City Navigation software.
Thanks!
