I want to mount the garmin StreetPilot 2610.I bought a used 2009 BMW K1200 LT with a factory GPS mount already on the on the bike,it mounts in front of the seat and was a factory option,it has 4 holes in a square formation and is held together with 4 screws and 4 nuts,I have 3 of the 4 screws and nuts 2 of the screws are shorter than the other one which is longer (I assume I need 1 more of the longer screws and 1 more nut probably need to get that from BMW)I want to know if the if the RAM Mount Garmin StreetPilot 2000 Cradle RAM-HOL-GA9U will bolt on to my existing mount already on the bike. I am also wondering if you have a connect adapter that goes between one of the 2 wires alread on the Bike the one wire with a unusual shaped conection goes fits perfect and works, the other wire that has a unusual conection that is round and I presume hooks into the stereo in the bike so you have sound thru the sterio do you have a conector cable that will work for that.

Hi Linguini, Welcome,

I am not sure what the bolt pattern on the factory mount is on your bike. there is a couple different options for mounts from BMW that they offer.
Saying that, here is a CAD render of the bolt pattern on the back of the GA9U holder for your street pilot.

If the bolt pattern does not match up. there are many other mounting options including ball and socket articulating mounts for more maneuverability and versatility.

For wiring I would recommend a whole new wiring harness for your street pilot as I can't say for certain how the existing wires are currently connected to your bike.

Found Here

If this is the harness that is already connected to the bike it should just plug directly into the GPS unit you have, The audio connector on the new wire harness is just a standard 2.5mm female audio connection for a standard helmet headset Or use a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter http://www.gpscity.com/garmin-rino-jack-adapter.html
to connect to the auxiliary input on the bike's stereo.

Thanks for your inquiry I hope you find this information useful
Jamie
