Is the memory sufficient to add the United Kingdom map?

Is there enough memory in this unit to add the United Kingdom map as well as the North American Map? If not, what unit or option would you suggest to get the UK maps in as well. We live in Canada but travel to the UK all the time.

Also, is there a way to get distance to destination on this unit (besides time to destination)

There is not enough internal memory but you can and should add the maps to a memory card for this unit.

Here is a link to the preprogrammed card for the nuvi 1390.

You can also get a unit with Europe and North American maps preloaded.

It would be a better option to get the nuvi 2370 which has NA and Europe preloaded.

Does the 2370 have lifetime maps updates? (a feature we want)

Do both units show distance to destination?

We need to decide today and then make the purchase.

The 2370 does not come with lifetime mapping updates, but you can add them with the purchase of:

And yes, both the 1390 and 2370 are capable of showing the distance to your destination.
