Manufacturer Description |
The RAM-B-241 U-Bolt Base with 1/4" NPT Thread is a Marine Grade Aluminum Zinc Coated U-Bolt Base with 1/4" NPT Female Thread.
PART DESIGN
Zinc Coated U-Bolt Mount for tubing size 1/2" to 1" dia.
Tighten the two screws at the end of the U-Bolt to clamp the base to a rail.
NPT Thread and Pipe Sizing:NPT (National Pipe Thread) is a standard used in joining pipes and fittings that have a tapered thread. As a general rule, the NPT inch size is the inside diameter of the threaded pipe and is known as the NPS (Nominal Pipe Size). The outer diameter (OD) of the pipe is shown in the table below:
