FLEX BUT STIFF ENOUGH
Pros: solid construction
Cons: none
I have tried multiple iPad mount ideas in our Turbo Commander aircraft. This seems to be the best I have found. Is stiff enough to support the iPad weight, but flexy enough to move about easily. I have this mounted to the floor, via seat rail adaptor which I made myself. The aircraft seat rail mount that Ram has does not work well, in my applications. I have heard same from others who tried it also.

VERSATILITY ENHANCED
Pros: positioning ease
Cons: none
I have been trying different combinations in our airplane, to mount the iPad. After a dozen different combination setups, this Flex Arm seems to offer the best in positioning for use and stowage. I mount it to a floorplate, attached to the seat rails, with the 90 degree screw-in plate. Good setup.
Recommend? YES
