USE DROID RAZR CAR DOCK WITH RAM SUCTION CUP
Pros: strong and let's me use ram mount
Cons: too expensive!
Used this ball along with RAM Mount Camera Thread B-Ball RAM-B-237U, just screwed together, and I was able to use my RAM suction cup windshield mount that uses the 1 inch ball. I did have to put some shim material in the Car Dock socket because this ball is slightly smaller than the one for the dock, but thats all and it works great. The stock Motorola windshield has very little adjustment and is pretty flimsy.
