Manufacturer Description |
MOUNT TYPE
Double Socket Marine Grade Aluminum 1 3/4" Long Arm for 9/16" dia. Balls
BASE DESIGN
The arm has a socket at either end to allow a 9/16" dia ball accessories to be connected. A tightening screw on the side of the arm enables the sockets to clamp firmly on the ball.
When loosening the side screw, a single spring inside the arm opens the socket for maneuvering of the mount, or removing of the ball from the socket.
GPSCITY NOTE
The arm size is measured from center of socket to center of socket.
9/16" dia. A Size Ball and Socket System Limitations:
The A size ball and socket system is designed for VERY LIGHT applications. The mounting devices will only hold up to approximately 1lbs in a low vibration environment. For a more sturdy mounting solution we recommend the RAM Mount B Size Ball Parts with the 1" diameter Rubber Ball.
