The RAM-B-1492-202 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Utility Strap Clamp Base Mount consists of the 1 inch diameter ball and socket system with a RAM Universal 2.5 inch diameter Round Plate End with AMPS hole patten.
The mount plate end is designed to be a universal mounting solution for both RAM and non-RAM designed products. The hole pattern found on the 2.5 inch diameter Plate will connect to a large variety of third party cradles and mounts.
Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-231-2 Marine Grade Aluminum Utility Strap Clamp Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles. The Strap Base tightening screw is encased in a compact housing for a clean, safe finish. The strap is long enough to wrap around handle bar posts found on most ATV, UTV, Snowmobiles, Motorcycles and any other applications you can think of.
Strap Dimensions: 1.57" (40mm) to a maximum of 3.15" (80mm).
Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM Mount Dual Socket Arm (RAM-B-201) is a B Size 1 inch Ball Dual Socket Arm, made of Marine Grade Aluminum. The arm is 3 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends.
Mount End Plate Design:
 The RAM-B-202 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Universal Plate has a 1.0" diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles to a 2.5 inch diameter round plate. The plate has pre-drilled holes in the base plate, including the universal AMPS hole pattern. Note: This base plate will attach to any of the RAM plastic HOL holders, but generally the RAM-B-238 Diamond Plate is used.
