The RAM-HOL-AP8D3L RAM Mount high strength plastic iPad Dock-N-Lock locking Cradle is designed to hold the original Apple iPad Tablet including:
- Apple iPad 4 (with Lightning Connector)
The iPad Dock-N-Lock cradle allows the installation of a factory charging cable with the Apple 30 Lightning Connector (not included). Once installed into the cradle base, an iPad can be docked into the cradle with a quick and easy connection of the cable.
When mounting the iPad cradle to a RAM Mount with their patented ball and socket system, you can easily display your iPad in landscape or portrait view. Now you can enjoy your Apple iPad the way it was designed - very easily.
Apple iPod, iPad and iPhone Identity and Mount Page:
 If you are unsure of what model Apple iPad, iPod classic, iPod nano, iPod mini, iPod touch or iPhone you have, now you can review your Apple device features on our Apple iPod, iPad and iPhone Identify Page. Once you identify your Apple iPod, iPad or iPhone, you can the select the right mount for your model.
Placing your Apple iPad into the Cradle: Place the bottom of the iPad into the cradle, and then push the top into the expandable arm at the top of the cradle. The arm will snap into place when the iPad is completely in the cradle.
Included with the iPad Cradle:
The cradle includes a set of two nuts and bolts to connect the cradle to any of the RAM compatible mounts.

The Uni-Conn™ features a unique patent pending design which enables the use of the factory iPad lightning connector for charging as well as other functions. For security, the RAM-HOL-AP8D3LU features a patent pending dial combination lock. Multiple AMPs hole patterns found on the back of the cradle, makes it convenient for attaching various mounts for perfect articulation and viewing angles. Compatible and interchangeable with a wide range of popular RAM Mounting products, this cradle is ready to compliment your iPad and become the most useful accessory in your vehicle.
Important Mounting Information:
This cradle does not ship with a RAM ball. To add a 1 inch ball to this cradle you need to purchase the Aluminum Round Plate with 1 inch ball (RAM-B-202). If you need to mount this cradle on a 1.5" ball system, you will require the Aluminum 2.5" diameter Diamond Plate (RAM-202).
