The RAM-B-138-C-AP8 Apple iPad (Wi-Fi and 3G) RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Flat Surface Screw Down Swivel Base, Long Arm, and RAM Custom Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Apple iPad (Wi-Fi and 3G) mount to your optimum viewing position.

Apple iPad Mount Cradle Design:
 The RAM-HOL-AP8 Apple iPad and iPad 2 RAM Mount Cradle is a High Strength Plastic Composite Cradle designed specifically to hold the Apple iPad and iPad 2 Series units
The cradle has a cut away at the bottom to allow the connection of all required cables. The cradle also enables full access to the volume and mute button on the side along with the power button and headphones jack at the top of the iPad.
When mounting the iPad cradle to a RAM Mount with their patented ball and socket system, you can easily display your iPad in landscape or portrait view. Now you can enjoy your Apple iPad the way it was designed - very easily.
Apple iPad Mount Cradle Plate:
 The RAM-B-202 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Round Plate is designed to connected to the back of cradles with an AMPS hole pattern. The round plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. Apple iPad Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201-C RAM Mount Dual Socket Long Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Dual Socket Arm made of Marine Grade Aluminum. The arm is 5.25 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Apple iPad Mount Base Design:
The RAM-B-202 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Screw Down Plate has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles to a 2.5 inch diameter Plate. The plate has pre-drilled holes in the base plate, including the universal AMPS hole pattern. For a layout of the hole spacing and 1.0 inch rubber ball location, take a closer look with the RAM-B-202 Design Drawings (pdf file).
Mount Base Mounting Solutions:Mounting hardware is NOT included with the purchase of the RAM-B-202. A semi-permanent solution for mounting this base is by using the RAM double sided adhesive disk (RAM-202PSA). The disk will hold the RAM-B-202 base in many different locations without screws.
